First Impression

Given that the site is geared toward Black Adventists, the membership base is very specific. With that in mind, you’re not going to find the large number of members that you would on some of the big, generic dating sites. You will, however, find a lot of black men and women who are interested in connecting with someone like you. Overall, the site is a well-designed place where single Black Adventists can come online to meet, chat, and get to know each other better.

Design and Functionality

Speaking of well-designed websites, this site is just that. True, it may never come in first place in an originality contest but, as the old saying goes, ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.’ The page layout is one that is both basic and easy-to-use. From the moment you visit the homepage, it’s immediately apparent that its members are its main focus.

People on the site are all about meeting one another and the layout, which features member profiles and pictures abound, makes that patently do-able. It’s super easy to click on one of them and immediately be taken to that person’s profile. This takes much of the work out of meeting people but, not to worry, the Search menu is always available if you’re looking for someone in a specific location or maybe with a particular level of education or some other variable, though the searchable ‘criteria’ choices do vary between the basic and premium memberships (more on that below). The Chat section is also quite neat, with various rooms and interests (seniors, global, etc.), even allowing a one-on-one video chat.

Features

With features like Browse, Search, and Who is Online?, you’re able to easily peruse the member profiles and pictures to see who catches your eye. You can also like profiles, send flirts, and send quick messages to other members.

As mentioned above, there are two membership types so the features do vary slightly between the free basic membership and the paid premium membership. While the basic membership is indeed free, it’ll cost you something if you decide to upgrade to a premium membership. The price for that is $27.99 per month though there is also a 3-months payable in advance option for $39.99 or just $13.33 per month.

There are a few different features between the two memberships. For instance, with a free membership, you can only access the basic search feature – searching for members by age or location. Premium members can search by these criteria and use a wide variety of others, like physical appearance, education level, and more. Premium members also get unlimited access to private video chats in the Chat feature while basic members can only take part in group video chats.

While doing research for our Black Adventist Singles review, we noticed that despite the differences between the two membership types, both offer you the chance to connect with lots of men and women who just happen to share your SDA foundation.

Members

Obviously, this is a site that focuses on bringing Black Adventists together. Consequently, the majority of members are black men and women. That’s not to say that there aren’t people of other races and ethnicities on the site – after all, there are plenty of whites, Hispanics, Asians and those of other races who don’t let a thing like skin color keep them from dating someone who is black. So while there are people of other races here, the majority of members are, in fact, Black Adventist women and men.

In addition, new members are continuously joining the site so its member base grows daily; again, the majority of them being Black Adventists but also with some people of other races joining too.

Final Word

If you’ve been looking for a site that can easily put you in touch with black men and women who share your Seventh Day Adventist faith, you won’t be disappointed with this one. Great Adventist dating websites have another site to welcome to their ranks.
